In your dream, the person/people that are abusing you represent parts of your personality. Because you are being abused, this shows that you have been or are, 'beating yourself up.' The house symbolizes the mind and after a period of time of getting abused, you leave. You can't help but find ways to keep yourself busy so you won't have to think...because when you allow yourself time to think, the negativity is relentless. Your daughter's ghost represents an aspect of your concious thinking that, while you have within you, you have not fully developed that part of your thinking. For example, if you consider your daughter's personality as loving and forgiving, then you have that within you. It can help keep you going even though you may not actually be ready to forgive just yet. (This is just one example.) Finding another house with a couple in it represents your ability to put yourself in another frame of mind for the purpose of giving yourself a break from the oppression of negativity.
