I can not seem to find answers anywhere so here it goes. I am only a teenager but unfortunately I have had my fair share of loss. My two closest grandparents, a great grandmother, and my dad. I have had many dreams about them all. What I find strange is every single time inside of the dream I know that they are dead. I seem to talk to them about why they are not dead or try to tell them that I love them. Why is it that I already know they have passed in all of my dreams?

The reason that you know that they are dead in your dream is that you consciously know that they are dead, but you still have feelings that you want to communicate to them. The reason that they often do not respond is because you know subconsciously that they cannot... because they have passed on.
