I had a dream that I was being chased in a field only dense enough to see or be seen in parts. Houses were scattered and I found myself dodging behind trees and hopping fences to break into homes. Several of the homes had people inside, many of who were startled by my presence, but calm when they met my pursuer (who came off as extremely charming).

Soon after the person would find a way to not only harm but usually kill anyone who got in their way. I had to watch as each person was violently attacked in multiple ways (stabbing, strangulation, blunt force, burning, etc). I found no time to rest and had to flee before the person found me. 

I have no idea who the person was, but they kept calling me by my name and saying my efforts were futile and that I would give up eventually. Calm in their chase of me they always found a way to me.

I woke up from this dream(terror) with an intense fear to even leave my bed let alone room, and laid there awake for at least an hour almost expecting something to happen. Very vivid and consuming.
