Thanks for reading this, I came here to hopefully have some light she’d on this very dark dream I’ve had recently.
im not sure how the dream started, but I’ll go into every detail I can think of. My first memory of it, is being with a male stranger (I am also male) whom I have never seen before in my life. This man is probably in his 60’s, he was a very kind man, I could almost sense how kind he was before he even spoke. I cannot remember what he told me, but I know still that he was making a huge sacrifice for me, and it was something huge, like maybe even his life, it was that profound. But anyway, this upset me, I remember I couldn’t help but hug him and cry in his shoulder (even though it was him making the sacrifice!) he was also topless and we were in a weird setting, you can barely see any detail in the background but it was a dark, night sort of setting in a abandoned garage almost. Once this had happened, I was then outside of my great-grandmothers house (where I lived as a child, she also passed away last year), same gloomy night setting and my family (wife and two kids) where there, and I knew it was time to say goodbye to them for the last time, even though i can’t tell you why we were saying good bye (similar to the first stranger), in the dream I knew sort of why and this upset me even further.
Then i walked to my old friends house whom I hadn’t seen in years, and actually not that fond of as we have had many differences, in the way some hound kids where driving around and crashed into his brothers car that was parked outside (his brother is recently deceased), but he was alive in the dream and still I didn’t think this was unusual. When I got to his door I then seen a few people already outside as if they were trying to get in. One was a girl I was once seeing/talking to in the past when me and my partner where having troubles (we are perfectly fine now) but this girl for some reason either had a clone of herself with her, or a twin sister (which she doesn’t have) and again this didn’t seem unusual. She had the demeanour of someone scorned, she clearly ratcheted I wasn’t there by the looks she gave me. We got inside and I tried to explain for to my old friends brother somebody had hit his car and drove off, although a usually simple thing to do, he couldn’t understand what I was saying, or basically coming across as it didn’t matter. We then move outside, a group of us, sitting in the road, looking down the hill his house is on. I discover for some reason I had a gun on me( I don’t own one and in the dream this didn’t seem unusual) and then I was recalling what happened with my family and the stranger in the first part of the dream. When I snapped out of it, back to where I was looking down the hill, out of nowhere, a different man was straight in front of me blocking my view pretty much completely, and had a loving smil on his face (different man from the first stranger) and had his arms open to hug me, I hugged him, it felt like he was hugging me to say ‘happy new year’ or something, but he said it was nice knowing you, and when he moved, unblocking my view, I saw torrents of water, with fire inside the water crashing towards us up the hill, immediately followed by painful screams. And I knew this was ‘it’ and the last thing was me hoping to god this was just a dream and I desperately tried to wake up, to no avail for the first 30 seconds but as I could feel the water spray hitting my back and then fire engulfing my ankles, I then managed to pry myself away from the dream and awoke. I woke up still very tired so I just have been in a very deep sleep, or REM sleep.
The day before and after we had we had a great day, nothing that got me down, considering I have suffered with anxiety and depression l. Yet I was plagued by this dream which was very unsettling, but the worst part is it made no sense, yet most of my dreams do.
