  • Hello,
I have a recurrent dream that always involves a city in the NL where I lived for 2 years and a half in my 20s. I am now 25 and I have moved back from the NL to my hometown in Italy for 3 years now.
In my dream I always see that city in the NL, and I always get a mild feeling of fear.... I am there, and I am happy to be there, but at the same time: sometimes I get lost in sinister places, sometimes I meet bad people, sometimes I realize I am not in that city but in another one that looks similar.... I dreamt a few times and also tonight a huge roallercoaster (really, HUGE!!!) in the middle of the main square, I always want so much to ride it but I always feel too scared to do it.
Can somebody help me what this???
    Please note that:
I didn't want to move back to Italy, but I had to move because unfortunately I had a stalker there and I got very scared.
I love the Netherlands and for me those 2 years and a half were a period of huge growth, both as an individual and as an artist; the NL are full of possibilities, unfortunately it's not the same in Italy. I have considered many time the possibility to move back to the NL, a part of me really wants to, but I don't want to loose my boyfriend and I am also scared it could be a failure again.

    Hi Cami!

I'll interpret the dream as mine.  However, before I do, I want to state some of the things I've learned from my dreams, which may help you understand my interpretation of your dream.

First, I've learnt that we are the producers, writers, directors and main actors in our dreams.  So, the fact you've chosen the NL as your dream location is important.

However, I've also learnt that dreams rarely have to do with the surface level interpretation of the dream.  Why not?  For a couple of reasons:
    * First, we need to be able to recall the dream upon waking.  Thus, to do this, we often choose a location, people, etc. that resonate within us.
    * Second, we have free choice.  Thus most dreams, while displaying lots of emotions, etc. don't typically apply to our daily life.  I know this might sound strange at first.  However, what I've learnt is it applies to our deep inner selves.

Next I want to tell you about what I've learnt about cities, houses and rooms.

I've learnt that we live in a virtual reality.  This too might seem "Way out there".  However, if you google the double slit experiment, erasure experiment and Wheeler's thought experiment, and digital physics, you'll see a growing part of physics proposing we are in a virtual reality.  Thus, what I've learnt from my dreams is not so far out there.

Given this, I've learnt that what I once thought were my pst lives, "live" at the "same time" I do.  Once I came across digital physics it all began to make sense.  They are simply other virtual realities.

If I haven't freaked you out so far, then come with me regarding cities, buildings and rooms...

Each of our "other lives" uses a variety of different belief filters to create their personality.  These are consciousness filters, filtering out most of the greater reality, and the greater us, from us as we enter the virtual reality.  There are thousands of different belief filters.

We display them to ourselves, each night when we dream.  Many of them are depicted by rooms, with each wall, ceiling and floor, symbols of belief filters working together, producing what i call "surface level belief effects", like fear, love, etc.

Many of our other lives, share some of the same belief configurations.  That's why they show up in some of the rooms with us.  This is what people call "strange people" or, "people I don't even know.

if you'd like to learn more about this, go to learningfrommydreams.com where you'll find lots more on what I've learnt.

So, with this framework, now let me interpret your dream as if it was mine...

Why am I creating the dream scene in the NL?  Several reasons:
    * I've incarnated there many times
    * It is a comforting place to me in this life
    * I had some spiritual stuff I began working on there but haven't finished

The comforting place, is the strongest feeling I get.  Thus, it's a time/place of my life where I felt "secure".  I'm using this to reassure myself that I can successfully work on the beliefs I need to address

Why is the dream recurring?  I've found in my life, that when I am not listening to myself. I have recurring dreams, over years, until I decide to listen.  Then the dreams change.

And now I come to the heart of my dream, i.e. fears.  I am getting "lost in sinister places", "meet bad people", "sometimes i am not in that city but in another one that looks similar".

We literally create our own reality.  The inner beliefs I am avoiding dealing with produce fear and uncertainty in myself, i.e. surface level beliefs.  I feel afraid to examine my inner self regarding these beliefs.

The fact I am in a city that isn't the one I lived in NL, IS ACTUALLY VERY GOOD!.  Why?

I'm slowly spiritually awakening, realizing I live many other lives.  I'm beginning to no longer literally interpret my dreams, living on the surface.

Next i come to the HUGE roller coaster.  Recall again it's me who's creating the dream.  Why then, would I choose a huge rollercoaster and then site it in the main square?

Answer - It's a symbol of the first beliefs I need to address.  It's large, indicating that I haven't paid spiritual attention to it.  I've found, as I address the inner beliefs, the dream symbols shrink down and then disappear.

Next, the dream location is all about....ME!!!!  It's in the main square, symbolically saying "Hey Me!  Spiritually wake up and address this!"

Yet, what's my response?  I'm scared to do so.  This is very typical in my dreams when I first come across something I haven't dealt with.  In the dream I am scared, wanting to get out, etc.  However, upon awakening, I can then 'see" the spiritual heavy lifting ahead of me.  It's my choice if I want to do it or not.

If not, then I can expect more recurring dreams like this.

If this was my dream, I would take heart from it.  I'm showing myself I am standing on the edge of beginning to address the dream.  i wouldn't be literally interpreting the dream.  Instead, I would meditate on the roller coaster.

Before I meditate and, also before I go to sleep each night, I'd open myself up to learning about what the rollercoaster has to teach me about myself.  I also 'feel" some type to totem is waiting for me to do this.  It will then appear as a bird, animal, fish, tree, insect or whatever to assist me.  I make a mental note to myself to open myself up to my totem to assist me.

I hope this resonates deep within you.

    With kind regards,
    Guy

    Hi guy
Thank you so much for your amazing reply!
I have to read it again and think about that.
The problem is I am unable to understand what the roallercoaster represents - which issue my innerself is asking me to pay attention to? I have no idea - I thought I was doing fine! The only issue I have and I can think about is if I have to move abroad or not.....but you say that places in dreams are symbolic and not literal...... Mmmm I will need to reason a lot about that.

    Hi Cami,
It's your dream and for you to figure out on your own.  If you're interested, I'd suggest the following to you:
    * Before you go to sleep each night, open yourself up to your guides, asking them to work with you on the rollercoaster.  It's the major portion of the dream in the centre, so that's where I'd begin if I was you.  Be persistent, doing this every night for as long as it takes.  You will show yourself.
    * Meditate - Before you meditate, open yourself up, asking your guides for assistance.  Don't have any preconceived ideas about what you want to talk about or to happen.  Simply let it happen.  Do this, each day, each week, each month.  You'll then find your meditations getting deeper and you'll show yourself your way, path, whatever.

You have excellent dream recall abilities.  Keep reminding yourself, you too have unique gifts.

    With kind regards,
    Guy
