I dreamt I was walking down a long dark, dank , hallway of an old mental institution. The walls and floors were wet concrete like an old cellar. All along the hallway there were patients being butchered by doctors and nurses. I could hear them all screaming and shrieking these high pitched screams as these doctors and nurses were sawing off their body parts. The patients weren't sedated and the dismemberments being performed seemed more like for experimental reasons and torture. Rotting body parts were strewn all along the hallway as if they had been left there from where they were cut off the patients. There were no rooms, just all these patients being held down on the floor or against the walls. Nobody seemed to notice me, it was like I was invisible walking down the hallway. I felt disgust and sympathy but no fear. It was as if what was occurring was normal, just sad and gross. Then suddenly an older woman with pale skin and dry strawberry blonde hair , beady eyes and tightly pursed lips started to come after me with syringes. She seemed to be a nurse. She remained expressionless except for a hint of a smile. She didn't run after me, just walked briskly with purpose as she chased me. I tried to kick her in the head to get her away from me but no matter how hard I kicked her, it seemed to have no affect. Until this woman, no one had seemed to notice I was there. Or if they did, they didn't care. Once she came after me, I felt fear for the first time in the dream. My dream ended with her catching me and stabbing the two syringes into my stomach. I could feel the pain. I would like to add that I dream every night and this is the first time I've ever seen the facial features of a person in my dream that I don't know. Usually people in my dream who I don't know in real life are just figures with clouded faces that I can't ever really make out the detail of. I could see every detail of this womans face , even her crows feet. I am very perplexed at the meaning of all of this. I feel seeing this womans face in detail means something since I never see faces of people I don't know in my dreams. I have nightmares almost every night but I usually don't experience fear when I have them- but I experienced such fear at the end of this dream from this woman that I up screaming and trying to fight her off of me. I cannot get this womans face out of my mind but I'm sure I don't know who she is. As I've pondered it,  I have slight sensations that she may resemble an older version of my mother, but she was shorter and my mother isn't a nurse. The only thing that keeps drawing me back to my mother is something about the womans eyes. I will also note that I'm not sure this was a version of my mom. In my dream I didn't feel it was, it's just as I've analyzed her face in my head over and over today, I think her eyes may resemble my mother's eyes when she used to make this creepy scary face for us when we were kids to play with us. We would beg her to make this face and she'd make her eyes look real scary somehow.  It's hard to explain in words. Anyway, any analysis of what the hell this all means will be really appreciated
