I was walking around in what looked to be an abandoned cabin at a beach. Everything was very grey. I was then shot in the head, and fell to the ground. In the next scene I was holding my head over a sink and letting the blood drain. I picked my head back up and looked at the bullet hole in the side of it and got into a taxi cab in the midst of extreme new york traffic. I was then brought to a hospital in the middle of no where. All of the doctors there were women and they spoke to me as if they were selling something. I woke up after this point.

In your dream, the head represents your center of thoughts. Being shot in the head shows that someone or something is trying to change that center of thoughts and the blood shows the amount of energy you've spent dealing with this. In other words, you are being affected by something that could potentially force a change in how you think. The heavy, New York type traffic represents the busy and crowded thoughts you are having surrounding the 'crisis' you are in. The hospital represents a place of healing. The female doctors symbolize the healing thoughts that are coming your way. To sell something means you are trying to show and acknowledge the value of something. In this case, your are being encouraged to see the value in who you are and in your unique way of thinking.
Look over your life and see where you feel as though you are 'under the gun' to change how you think. Realize that, as long as you are honest, loving, and make good choices, your thoughts are going to be worth keeping. Healing is being given but you have to hear it, and believe it, then you can take steps to actually have it.
