So I dreamed that I was dreaming. In the dream inside the dream, I saw myself sleeping from like another person's view and a demon was standing next to my bed holding a knife and said "I will cut you". Then I woke up in the dream and texted the girl I like and told her about it but she didn't respond. Then the dream inside the dream ended and I forgot the rest of the dream.

Your "dream" may be an occurrence during sleep (a physiological issue) or a dream that relates to how you are feeling about your waking life... or a combination of both.

Demons in the bedroom are often symptoms of sleep paralysis. OR, the demon could reflect feelings of guilt. Here's a link to the definition on this site: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/demon.html For more information about sleep paralysis (a common sleep disorder), here's a link to a good overview: dreamdoctor.com/sleep-disorder/sleep-par...8ed64ba7f78bbbec0416

The next part you describe is more typical of a dream, symbolically reflecting your feelings about communication issues with the girl you like. Texts, IMs, email, letters and phones in dreams are common symbols for waking life communication. Here's a link to its definition: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/phone.html When someone doesn't respond to a call, text, etc., it can reflect your sense that you don't know how they would respond OR your sense that that person has cut off communication. The answer lies in how you felt about it IN the dream. Because feelings in dreams are never disguised, if you felt snubbed, it's likely to reflect your sense that the "guilt issue" is one that might make her bolt. If you were merely waiting for a response, then it's probably reflects your uncertainty about how she would respond.

    Hope that helps!
