I had a very peculiar dream last night, I suppose that all of my dreams are very strange, but I usually don't remember much of them. Multiple events happened in my dream, and I can't say if I'm putting these events chronologically, but they all revolve around my potential love interest, let's call him Ken.
In my dream I was outside, halfsleeping on soil near a small town (more like an ancient village), and since it was morning Ken walked over and said good morning, and since I barely moved at the sound of his voice, he assumed I was sleeping so he turned around walked back into town, but since I actually heard him, I got up and ran after him and said good morning back.
Then we're slashing through dark knee length water, which would normally terrify me since I'm not fond of fish, but we're lauging and having a good time, even though there was an unsaid urgency to get away (not from Ken, but from everybody else), and when we stopped for a moment, I looked up to his face and he says, "Oh my gosh. You're a mermaid!" But he didn't sound disgusted, or repulsed, just bewildered. And I look back at my legs only to see a fin in its place, but for some reason I was not surprised.
After that we were racing on a racetrack, he was driving, I was in the passenger's seat, and all of the cars were hooked up to this enormous marshmellow machine that was melting giant marshmellows using the engery the cars gave off. Ken told me to say something that would inspire, or drive, him to win the race, and I replied with a sarcastic remark, "Oh boy. How I would just loove to win this race." And even though I didn't necessarily mean it, I suppose it gave him the inspiration he wanted, becausethe car went faster, which frightened me because of the speed. There was a break in the middle of the race.
I woke up.
It's all so seemingly random, I'm trying to find a pattern but am running up dry. I don't usually remember much of my dreams, so when I had this one I decided to post it up and see if anyone could interpret it.
