I am a 14 year old girl, and have woken up so completely scared by this dream.

So I was in the kitchen with my father and my mother was sitting in the lounge. My father was cooking and had done something wrong (unclear what) and i shouted at him to tell him to wash his hands around 4 times. He suddenly stopped and pressed his hand under my armpit that i physically felt pain even tho i was asleep. He then got a knife and pressed it under my throat and i remember my mother screaming and crying, begging him to stop. Can someone please help me understand this distressing dream? Thank you
