So I had a dream I was at a beach. I was taking lots of pictures of the scenery when I saw through my camera a good looking guy so I started to take pictures of him, then appeared a woman by him and they started kissing. I see all this through my camera. So I’m thinking well, there goes that.

I turn around to see I’m with Mickey (my physically and mentally abusive ex from 10 years ago who is the father of my second son) Disappointment came over me, then acceptance for the moment. Mickey begins to tell me I need to embalm someone, a dead stranger. I am so confused. I get upset asking him “why? I don’t even know who this person is. I don’t even know how to embalm someone. What if I mess up?” Mickey became frustrated with all my questions answering “I DON’T KNOW VALINDA!! ALL I KNOW IS THAT YOU HAVE TO EMBALM OK…YOU HAVE TO DO IT! HOW SHOULD I KNOW WHY?” I said “This is ridiculous! I’m not doing it.” I leave him.

I walk into a beach house and find Randall (who is my cheating ex from a couple years ago who is the father of my youngest son) bending over trying to fix something with Ryan (his son) watching. I don’t recall what it was but he was having a difficult time trying to fix it. I tried to help but he just got frustrated with me like I was just in the way. So Ryan and I started having a conversation about how he’s doing with school and life. Then Randall stands up to test whatever it was that needed fixing and the entire thing fell apart. Unlike my character, I began laughing, it struck me so funny and I’m not sure why. I was trying not to laugh but Randall even more angry. He just got up and ordered to me and Ryan “Come on, let’s just go.”

So all 3 of us got in his Yukon and as soon as the doors shut he starts screaming at me “HOW DARE YOU LAUGH AT ME LIKE THAT AND EMBARISS ME!!” I’m yelling, we’re yelling over each other then I look in the backseat and notice Ryan has tears streaming down his face. I said “That’s it!! Let me out right now!!” Randall said “We’re on the freeway Valinda, where are you going to go?” I said “I have to embalm someone.” He looked at me like I was crazy (Rightfully so) “WHAT??!! What is WRONG with you??? What are you talking about? Who?” I said “I don’t know, it’s just something I have to do. Let me out I said!” He slammed on the brakes “FINE! I don’t want your stupidity around me and my son anyway.” I started to get out of the Yukon and turned to Ryan and said “Goodbye Ryan, I am SO sorry!” He nodded.

I’m walking down the freeway not knowing where, who, why or what I’m doing. All I know is that I HAVE to find this dead, stranger man to embalm. That’s all I remember. I have never dream of embalming and don’t think of embalming and didn’t even think I've used the word embalm in my vocabulary. I know what it means, but I found it VERY strange to dream of something I don’t think about.
