Some Background:
I had met this guy when I started a new job in construction with my dad. We started to hangout a lot (which no one on the job, especially my dad, was too happy about) I have been seeing this guy (Jason) for about 8 months (He is 27) and at first we both admitted we liked each other and the longer this went on the more it felt like a friends with benefits relationship. I had asked him if he saw a relationship and he said yes he just wasn't quite ready (wanted to wait til he got his own place). He's been in his place for almost 3 months, so it's been on my mind to talk about a relationship again. Just the other day I let him know that I really cared about him and wanted a relationship. He just replied with 'I'm not ready for a relationship in my life.' After talking for a bit after that I said I still wanted us to talk and be able to hangout, he said he was confused and didn't know what to think. After a little longer said that yea maybe we should stop. So I'm pretty sure it's over and this whole thing has me very upset because I really care about him and thought he cared about me.
The Dream:
In my dream I was with Jason and we were running away from some people that were after him. After a bit we ended up in this building and could hear the guys closing in. He gave me a big hug and said I should leave and get as far away as I could. He then told me he loved me (I remember being shocked that he said this and asked him 'what did you say?' and he repeated 'I love you') and then happily I said it back. The guys burst into the room and grabbed him. They tied him down to a table and began to torture him. After a few minutes of me standing by him crying, he told me to go and that he didn't want me to see this. I got escorted out of the room and sat waiting, crying. After a while I went back into the room and he was dead and I was devastated. One of the people who was torturing him was one of the guys we worked with. After seeing that Jason was dead I went downstairs where my dad was and screamed hysterically that they killed him and he just shrugged it off like it was nothing. Then I woke up.
