Hello, first of all I love this site, I always visit to look up symbols and such, I've been coming here since around 2001. I had a bunch of dreams back then with repetitive symbols and posted and whoever helped me was awesome, and with their help I learned how to interpret my dreams and I will be forever grateful! But I'm stumped with something right now so I thought I'd ask...

From what I can remember...
In the first dream I had (many many weeks ago), I was at an event with my boyfriend and his close friends / business colleagues. It was some type of audition and there were girls auditioning for something. It was a fun and lively event, I was in a great mood. Then I just remember going to the bathroom and looking in the mirror, and I saw the majority of the white part of my eyes covered in black. And I woke up.

Now, just last night. I don't recall the exact events of the dream. But I DO remember looking in the mirror and noticing a little black goo in my eye. I assumed it was something from my mascara or makeup, so I try to take it out, but then it sort of moves up under my top eyelid so I lift my eyelid to try to get to it... and then out comes large big black goo, it just slides down and covers most of my eye again. Of course in the dream I'm thinking it is gross so I just grab it and take it out and throw it in the trash.

I just think it is odd I had two of these dreams which is why I wanted to ask about it. Quick background info: I'm in grad school away from home, all is well in my opinion, I will soon be moving back to my hometown city (after this last semester of classes) to find a new job, move in with bf, etc. But I don't see any connection. I've been thinking about it. Any tips or suggestions to lead me in the right path will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'd like to offer this: The theme in your dreams here is the eye. Eyes represent vision, or how you see your future. As you 'reflect' on this part of your life, you see a black spot. Black indicates the unknown or mystery. In the first dream you were shocked and woke up. In the second, you just pulled it out. I think the second was a follow up.

Look over your life and see where you might consider your future, plans/goals, desires. This can easily be about graduation, new job, living arrangements, etc. We know these are coming but don't stop there. Also look at finances, hobbies, vacations, etc. What I see is that from time to time, something stands out regarding your future that places that 'cloud of doubt' on your mind. The good news is, you recognize it as temporary and fixable.

Mcreekr, wow thank you very much for your interpretation! It makes perfect sense, and I actually think I know at least one thing in my life where there is a "cloud of doubt" is as well. I will also take your advice and look beyond graduation, new job, etc. when it comes to my future. THANKS AGAIN!
