  • For the past couple weeks i have had a dream on and off, of my friend, who is a female like me. I go over to her house every time and come to find out she is hiding someone she has killed in her closet and constantly is asking me to help her dispose of him. This dream happened several times and i feel as if something just a little more strange was behind it every time. It didnt really hit me as something that freaked me out until the dreamed changed last night, into her actually preparing to dispose of the guy, gathering tattered close somehow managing to get her car into her room and putting him in the trunk and even attempting to discuss the way in which to best dispose of him, and her not wanting to set him on fire. i am completely petrified by this dream now, and i need help understanding what it really means.

  • Without knowing your friend or the waking life background that generated your dream, I may be stepping out on a limb here, but it seems as if your dream is about your friend's intention to "dispose of" (dump) her current boyfriend/husband. Your dream provides the addition detail of her trying to do so on the sly and in a cold blooded way... reflecting your sense that she is not emotionally involved and would rather not draw any attention to "the matter." The meaning of the symbols in the dream should help you identify exactly what your dream is about. Here are links to the definitions:

    kill: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/murder.html
    dead body: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/dead-body.html
    car: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/car.html
    fire: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/fire.html

Of course, your friend in the dream could be literally her or she could be symbolic of someone else who reminds you of her in your waking life.

Feelings in dreams are never disguised, so how you felt IN the dream is how you are feeling about its subject in your waking life. How you felt about the dream after you woke up is often different than how you felt IN the dream. The latter is the relevant feeling, one which should help you identify what aspect of your waking life the dream was about.

    Hope that helps!
