Recurring Labyrinth-Like Dream was created by amber0608
So, It's kind of like navigating through a labyrinth, except it's a cave system instead of a maze. The walls are white and glittery. When I look to my left I see another tunnel in the cave one that is surround by a green gooey-type water and one of those spider web things you crawl on out on the playground? It's made out of rope and looks kind of like netting. Anyway, I see someone go that way and I scream for them to stop. They fall into the goo and disappear. I keep going. I'm trudging through water but it doesn't feel wet. I can hear it sloshing beneath me, though. It's dark but I can still see somehow. I reach a point where there is an opening and I can see a bit of light. The walls look like a rock climbing wall. Still white and glittering. I climb the wall. It's a struggle and I keep slipping. I get to the top and there is a door. A heavy brown wooden door with a brass door knob. I open it and I'm in this house that I don't know. The houses front door is open and I can see the night sky. It's clear and the stars are visible. I see the mailbox in the front yard. It's black. There is a big picture window and wood floors. There is a man there. He tells me I'm in the wrong place and that I have to go back. I don't know who he is. He has sort of dark shaggy looking hair. He kisses me and when I open my eyes I'm back in the cave. This time I see the exit I originally saw with the rock walls and then I see a second exit. This exit has wooden stairs that are strewn with various colorful toys. I remember seeing red and blue and yellow. The door at the top of the stairs is white. I open it and It is so bright in this house. I see a kitchen table. The front door is open, still. It feels warm....and then it ends.

Dreams are expressions of your feelings about your waking life. Because you did not provide any background about what was going on in your life, it's hard to pinpoint what generated it. That being said, the symbols in your dream do paint a picture of what might have been going on. Here are links to their definitions:
maze: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/maze.html
cave: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/cave.html
water: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/water.html
drowning: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/cave.html
light: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/light.html
climbing: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/climbing.html
can't get to: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/can-t-get-to.html
door: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/door.html
house: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/house.html
night: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/night.html
stairs: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/stairs.html
color: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/color.html
Your dream suggests that you have recently gone through a period where you have felt lost and confused and that it has been a struggle. However, at the end of the dream, you see the light and enter into a warmer, safer place with the help of the strange man in your dream. Could he be someone you know in waking life or is he symbolic of a man you hope will guide you to a better place? Try to remember how you felt about him IN the dream (excited, scared, apprehensive, respectful?). Feelings in dreams are never disguised, so how you felt in the dream is how you feel about its subject in your waking life. The good news in the dream is that you feel that you are climbing out of the dark and into the light symbolically. The fact that the dream ends in a house with a kitchen table suggests that this dream has to do with your home life.
If you could provide some background about what was going on in your life at the time you had the dream, I'm sure I could do a better job of helping you connect the dots.
