Pregnant (and positive pregnancy test)? was created by Kiyae
I actually have two dreams I wanted to tell about... since last fall, I've had 3 dreams of having girls.. it was spread out, and stopped in Feb...
Now, I've found the love of my life
and I think I might be pregnant? My hormones are changing/my moods are making me look bipolar.... and these are 2 dreams I've had:
In one dream, my family kept rushing around the house, saving money, and talking about how to make more room... I was helping re-arrange some things that were not in my bedroom (no open/available rooms in our house) and I'd turned to my mother, not really understanding but knowing I was totally grateful - when I spoke, "How'd you know?"
She looked at me, and you could tell she was a little worried and thinking, but she smiled sincerely, "I had a feeling". When I asked her how she'd gotten the feeling or what could have hinted at it, no one replied. That's all of THAT dream that I remember.
In this most recent dream, that I had last night:
In the dream, my family were on the road to some sort of a trip. I forget where to, probably an amusement park because I was excited.... (I was hoping to do an amusement park thing/Cedar Point next summer with my boyfriend/partner) when I decided to take a HPT test, which came out positive. I don't know it if was just faint or if it was the lighting, but it had a plus. I was SO happy and relieved, and I went out of the bathroom and didn't say anything, the rest of that trip.. (I don't remember actually having it get to the targeted place, just that much.)
I have not told anyone but my boyfriend and his sister, and his sister told his family that I might be.. His mom's excited, but I did 2 pregnancy tests, which I figure I was only 4 weeks and have been a bit afraid to try it again... I mean, whenever my mood flips, I remember that I may be, or whenever I feel sick or something, or a random area of my body begins hurting. I'm still too early for the kicking, too early for an ultrasound or to be gaining weight... I just know that my period was late (never track, never notice if it is or not) because I actually noticed, something deep down had told me that something wasn't right... my "period" wasn't exactly normal. And while it sounds like this is eating me alive, it's not. I tend to forget otherwise, if my body's mellow. Sure, every day I open my Microsoft Database and mark whatever I was feeling that day (pain where/ nauseous/going to the bathroom a lot/ headache/ moodswingy, etc.). Again, other than that, it does not eat at me.
Could my dreams be pointing to that, or what other meaning could they signify?

The important thing to realize about dreams is that they expressions of your feelings, thoughts and awarenesses (intuition) at the time you had the dream. They aren't psychic events. That being said, dreamers often have a feeling about what is happening subconsciously. If and when it comes true, they think they may have had a precognitive experience, which is unprovable. The more likely and logical explanation is that we all pick up on signals, external and internal, that are feeling-related and come out in our dreams.
Pregnancy dreams are very common and your dreams fall under that heading. If you haven't already, you might want to read the definition of the symbol on this site: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/pregnant.html, as well as getting pregnant: dream-dictionary/definitions/getting-pregnant.html There's also a 1 minute talk by the Dream Doctor about the symbol in the "Listen Now!" section of the homepage.
There are some other common dream symbols in your dreams that compliment your conscious feeling/sense that you are pregnant:
room (as in make more room... for a baby): dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/room.html
The fact that your MOTHER (maternal instinct personified) is in the dream and has the feeling your are pregnant is not a coincidence in the dreamscape.
amusement park: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definit.../amusement-park.html
bathroom: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/bathroom.html Reflects your current sense of privacy and reticence to tell the world the news.
One last thing... feelings are never disguised in dreams, so how you feel IN the dream is how you feel about its subject in your waking life. If you are ever confused about the real subject of your dream, start with the feeling you had in the dream and consider where you feel like that in your waking life. Sometimes you won't know, because you are hiding or protecting yourself from those feelings. The good news is that dreams expose our real feelings. Once you realize how you really feel about what's going on in your waking life, you will make better decisions.
Hope that helps!
