The night before, I dreamed of my lover passing away.. In real life, we live together for now, but we both need to return to our countries for studies in a few weeks. I dreamed that he had passed away and I started packing his stuff from the room we live in, till I pick up this little paper clipper that he uses at work and I burst out in tears. I fall with my face and arms on the table and cry uncontrollably.

Then, my lover woke me up. I found him next to me in the bed. He was shushing me and hugging me, because I was crying out loud before I actually woke up. It was the best feeling in the world to have him there with me. I just wonder what my dream meant. Is it that we have to spend time apart soon or other reasons?

Obviously, your impending time apart is playing on your emotions. But there is something else. In your dream, your lover represents an aspect of your action or behavior. The traits that you would use to describe his personality, are the very traits within you that are being addressed. Death symbolizes change, so this means that a part of your behavior has changed. Your room represents a part of your mind and in it, you are going over the things you used to do. The paper clip indicates organization or just 'keeping it together'. Look over your life and see where some changes have taken place that makes you feel as if you can't hold it together. It might just be that he will leave.
