Well I figured I'd try this, since I can't really find an interpretation to the dream I had last night...

Let me tell you a little about me:
I am a 21-year old female and I am a lesbian. I have known since I was about 8, came out to my friends at 15, and came out to my family this last September (2011). I am comfortable with who I am and with my sexuality, but the dream I had last night left such an impression in my mind that it's making me question myself.

In my dream, I am at a party or convention of some sort. I run into this guy - he is a musician, dark haired and charming. I don't remember the events leading up to it, but the next thing I remember in my dream, I am in a relationship with this guy. I am very happy and we are very close. We purchased a house together and then I woke up.

What could this mean? I am dreaming of a relationship with a man when I've dated women openly for the past 8 months.

If you need any more information or anything, let me know. Hopefully someone can interpret this for me so that I can understand a little better.

    Thanks in advance!

  • To be intimate with an unlikely partner in a dream is a common dream symbol. Here's a link to help you understand how the symbol works in its most extreme form: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/sex.html

The big question for you to consider is... who is the guy in the dream? Is he someone you know and/or admire in your waking life who appears symbolically as a musician? Or, could he be symbolic of the music that he plays that touches you intimately?

The answer may be found in the definition of a house in a dream: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/house.html

    Hope that helps!
