I have this reoccurring dream it goes like this.

I'm buying a house in the swamp. It's a beautiful house with warm colors but I can't figure out why there is so many outside lights around the property. The realtor shuttered and told me I was going to need them when I asked her.
Our first night in the new home was strange it was warm and we started to hear wolves out in the swamp. when I looked out the window from my living room I noticed red glowing eyes and something large moving in the dark. Terrified I ran to the breaker and threw the switch lighting the swamp up with the lights I had asked about earlier. large towering werewolves were stalking around the house. When the lights hit them they roared in pain and fled. but the lights were going out slowly and they came back waiting for the final light to faultier. here is where I wake up most of the time.
This dream is strange but stranger still I am not the only one in my family to have this same dream my oldest daughter 14 and youngest boy 11 had it as well. it wasn't at the same time in our lives but it was strange to have my oldest describe the dream to me with out me tell her mine. then my son told me of the same account. please if anyone can shed some light on this I would truly be grateful.

It's not uncommon for members of the same family or group to have similar dreams because they can share the same experience and have the same emotional reaction in their waking life. The key symbol in your dream is the wolf. Here's a link to its definition on this site: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/wolf.html

Try to identify who the "wolf" is in your waking life and that of your children and it will shine a light on the meaning of the dream... the same as your desire to do so in the dream. In fact, light and darkness are also important symbols in dreams. Here's a link to the definition of light: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/light.html and darkness: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/darkness.html

Swamps in dreams have a similar meaning as a forest in a dream, but with water which is a universal symbol for emotions in dreams. Here's a link to its definition: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/forest.html Houses in dreams are common symbols for the self. See: dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/house.html

Recurring dreams "reflect feelings and awarenesses that have not been successfully resolved in our waking lives," so try to recall what was going on in your waking life when the dream first began to confirm the identity of the wolf.

Finally, feelings in dreams are never disguised, so how you feel IN the dream is how you really feel about its subject in your waking life. Try to identify where in your waking life you feel as you do in your dreams. If you want to change your dream or make sure it never recurs, ask yourself the hard questions and take the steps that you feel are necessary to eliminate those feelings in your waking life.

If you don't mind, please share with us who the wolf is and what caused you and your children to keep having this scary dream. It could help others protect themselves from the wolves and other demons in their lives.

    Good luck!

Okay I think this was very helpful for me. I was going through a time when I was finishing a book it was my first work. My husband I think in the dream was the wolf though he was supportive in helping me publish my book, I still felt repressed and unsupported. the house was beautiful so I felt confident in myself but the future was shaky for my new career so that's why the lights were going out.
thank you for helping me bring some light to this and I'll ask my children what was going on in their lives when they had this dream. Maybe with this tool I can help them. :cheer:
