Same Dream Reccuring For 10+ yrs now was created by tattooedforever12
Ok, I have had this one dream reccuring at least once a month for the last 10+ yrs. My dream is of me with this guy who I have no clue who it is. I can only see the back side of this guy, he has no shirt on with only black pants on. I can not see his face either. I have no idea why I have this dream or what it could be telling me. If anyone has any info on this please help me out =/

"Recurring dreams reflect feelings and awarenesses that have not been successfully resolved in our waking lives." For more about how they work, here's a link to the full definition on this site:
recurring dreams
Based on that, ask yourself what was going on in your waking life at the time you began having this dream.
Another big clue as to its meaning is how you feel about this guy IN the dream. The reason: feelings in dreams are never disguised. How you feel IN the dream is how you feel about its subject in your waking life. Do you feel scared, attracted, aroused, etc.?
Without knowing that, it's hard to say with any certainty what your dream means. Nevertheless, here are links to definitions of 2 related dream symbols that might shed some light on what you are telling yourself in these dreams...
unknown lover
faceless lover
Hope that helps!

Hi, to give u some more info about my dream. I have been having this dream way b4 i started dating guys. In the dream i can see myself embracing the guy but I cant ever see his face and still cant when I have the dream still. I know in every single relationship I have been in ive been cheated on. I guess I kinda hope that this dream is trying to tell me that there is a guy that is right for me out there. but i would like to why, his face is missing and why I keep having the dream, i just had it again like 4 days ago.

This is a common dream, for which the 2 definitions I posted above are relevant. The reason you can't see his face is that you haven't met him, yet, so you don't know what he looks like. Your dream is telling you (i.e., you are telling yourself) that you want to be with a guy like that AND you don't know who he is or what he looks like. Even before you started dating, you were dreaming about that special someone. Don't be tempted to believe that the physical attributes of the mystery guy in your dream are exact or even accurate. In other words, if he is tall with black hair in your dream, don't only be on the lookout for tall, dark haired guys. Your dream is not psychic; it's an expression of your feelings and desires. You still have to do the hard work of getting out there, finding him, and, based on your past relationships, vetting him.
Be patient, open, determined, discerning and open, and you will find him.
Good luck!
PS. Keep tracking your dreams because they often reveal issues/problems (like infidelity) before you might otherwise become aware of them.
