in my dream....my husband of 15 years....we have been separated for 5 1/2 years of the 15 yrs.....told me that he and his girlfriend had exchanged vows the saturday before....i began crying and arguing with him that he couldn't do that, we were and are still married....he then proceeded to tell me that he had paid for a divorce some time back....and i cried harder and argued again that it was impossible. that i never received any divorce papers and therefore, never signed any papers.....i could hear myself crying in the dream, i mean, i could hear my voice, even though i was still asleep, like i could hear myself talking....and when i woke up, my cheeks were soaked with tears and i was still crying.....please tell me what it means?

someone, please help me to understand what it meant for me to wake up crying, and to even hear myself crying and talking, while i was still asleep......

In your dream, your husband represents an aspect of your actions or behavior. This action is one that you had been committed to do. The girlfriend symbolizes a different aspect your concious thinking. He, marrying her, indicates that the actions you were once committed to for one reason, are now being carried out for a different reason. In other words you are still doing the same kind(s) of things, but there is a different way of thinking about it. Denying and crying over the divorce shows how you had not realized how your thoughts have changed regarding your activities, and that realization is causing some mental stress...to say the least. Hearing yourself crying and talking, shows that you are trying to work this out in the inner levels of your mind. Look over your life and see how you have recently started seeing evidence of how you are directing your actions with a different thought process and/or attitude. If this dream girlfriend is a real person in your waking life, make note of how you would describe her personality. (honest/dishonest, selfless/self-centered, etc.) The traits you see in her, are the very traits within you that the dream is addressing. I hope this helps you make sense of what's going on so you can make choices that have a positive effect. God bless.
