So I had a dream last bight that a white dove flew and landed next to me. I noted that doves mean peace and got excited about the sign that was sent (especially with the riots, covid, other countries having stand offs, etc..). I went to puck it up, which at first it seemed fine.

Then after about a minute it started to squirm and bite me. It finally got down, but I figured I'd at least get it somewhere safe to fly off. So I tried to puck it up again, and it fought a bit and tried to bite. I finally told the dove that peace is good, and that I was just trying to pick it up to take it somewhere safer and free to do whatever it wanted. The dove finally calmed down and was subdued, although with a slight bit of resentment.

I feel like it was an important dream, it just feels like it's conflicting itself or something. I'm not quite sure just how to interpret it.

Hello! I've had three dreams with huge birds landing right at my feet. The first two left me feathers - a brown one and a rainbow one. After the brown one I started writing, and after the rainbow one I started painting in my waking life. And the third bird was yellow and she offered me to fly on her back. Next month, I was piloting a small yellow airplane in Nepal. I did not try to catch them and treated them with awe and respect. They can talk easily in a dream, and if we have an intention towards them, it makes sense to ask their permission first. As in the real life with people and other living souls.
It's good that the dove made you thing about peace, as maybe it was you feeling unsafe and the bird was actually safe and free.
Hope you see more birds in your dreams and establish a good friendship - remember to communicate with them and they will share a lot.
