I have had this dream periodically over the past couple of months and I cannot understand what it is trying to tell me. Any insight would be great.

In the dream I am in a fancy apartment with large windows, antiques, a grand piano, fine art work and flowers. This apartment is not my style in real life at all. I am on my way out to run errands and when I get outside the building unexpectedly my Doctor is there for a visit so I take him up to my apartment. I remember we chat in the elevator and upon getting to the apartment I am relieved that this is my home that I am welcoming him it to. I offer him a glass of wine but he declines. I wake up right at this point and the dream always feels very real to me.

In my life I life in a nice apartment along the ocean that I love. I do have a chronic medical condition and have had the same doctor for 20 years.

My overwhelming feeling when I wake up from this dream is confusion - I am confused about where/how I am living and confused as to why my doctor is making a house call. I have this dream 2-3 times a week.
