Hello to all! My name is Donald, but I go by Don. This is my first time on the forum, and I'm glad that I found this website. I have very vivid dreams from time to time, and I always look up meanings around what factors in my dream were about. I always felt like I was connected to the spirit realm for some reason, so I'm hoping that my dreams are a reflection of that.

In any case, I wanted to bring up a dream that I just had last night, and I'm hoping someone can help me with the meaning. So I was with a group of ghost hunters (around 8 or 9), and oddly enough, some of them were former classmates that I lost contact with years ago. We were visiting this abandoned movie theater that the owner (who I dont remember seeing, but I'm sure it was a woman) stated that no one has been in for over 30 years, and it's haunted.

So we go inside, and nothing in it looks abandoned. It didn't look like your typical movie theater, either. The chairs were something from the 80's-90s, but there was no big screen. Instead, there were groups of chairs that were looking up to a small TV (maybe 20 inches or so), and there was an older movie playing (I can't recall the movie, but you can tell it was older based on the haziness of the film). The chairs were ascending, with a group of about 5 chairs or more to one TV. At the entrance of the theater was a very bright Christmas tree with presents, like a display. Finally, this room was not dark at all, as it was a well-lit room (not because of the Christmas tree, however).

Automatically, we all started to have doubts on whether this place was abandoned or haunted at all, but we decide to press on and climb up the stairs to the back of the theater. As we got deeper, the rooms were extremely dark, and we had to use flashlights to see. We started breaking off into pairs and started exploring the place. This whole theater had big, massive rooms that looked more like empty bedrooms than something you'd see in a movie theater. There was also also of stairs (the stairs had a wood grain finish with a strip of metal around each step). I was with a girl (whom I didn't recognize), and we got lost and separated from the group, until we eventually found them again.

As the investigation came to a close, we got into a cramped basement area full of old VHS tapes, and to our surprise, we saw a Nintendo Wii U and an Xbox 360 (I know! Random!). One of those tapes was a crossover special with Scooby-Doo Doo and the Joker from Batman (I promise on my life, I am not making this up). From there, we all knew that this place was in use in some way, and we made our way into another part of the theater (possibly back to the entrance, but I dont remember). But on our way back, we heard something sounded like a "meow". Thinking it may be a ghost, we checked some rooms within that area, but all of them were dark and empty. I remember being scared of seeing something, so I opened the door of each room, pretending to look inside. None of us found anything. When we got to the room with light, we concluded that the place was not haunted or entired abandoned, and the owner was trying to get some publicity from it so that she could sell it.

That's all, folks! I know it was alot, but what do you all think? Thank you for your time, and I apologize for the length!
