it was Mother’s Day and I was walking down the walkway and at the end of the walkway there was a museum and a lady was setting up the museum for Mother’s Day she asked me to spread petals everywhere and while doing it I seen an old man sat on a bench staring at me I started to walk towards him and asked if he needed any help he said he’d lost his crutches and his carer so I found his crutches and asked if needed help getting home he said yes so I gave him his crutches and he kept throwing them on the floor so I picked them up and give them back to him and he do it again so then I got annoyed because he was making rude jokes then we seen his carer as we got his apartment there was a glass door to get in and his carer said you go home I’ve got it so then I started walking and then heard screaming so I went back and the man had a proper sadistic smile on his face and has his career pinned against the wall and he strangled her trying to kill her she keeps struggling and then he lets go and she drops to the floor(think she’s dead) then he spots me so he started walking towards me so I try and punch him but he’s too strong and he grabs me by the throat and starts strangling me and you saying something to me but I don’t know what and then I wake up

Hi, OP, it sounds like a terrible nightmare and i am sorry you had to go through it- i also have had relevant and coincidentally with similar symbols of something falling again and again as i try to fix it- like in your case- the crutches of the old man. I looked that up on Psychological Science and seems to signal to a internal and intra relationship we have with our goals- i am also kinda glad you woke up because the direction of dream seems to be going towards a tragic end- i am sure you must have been shaken- very sad to hear this
