    Hello:
A bit of background info - I’m usually a very light sleeper and do dream regularity. I have had odd dream experiences back when I was younger but not frequent. The past year consistent sleep through the night has been more of an issue and I feel like I’m sleeping lighter than I used to.

The past two nights in a row have been strange. I’ll be honest, I wrote yesterday off and don’t have much recollection of it; however, the same sort of thing happened again last night.

All I can remember from yesterday was feeling heavy and upset and then a woman shouting woke me up. Again, very vague and I brushed it off. Last night I remember more. I was feeling very heavy and I was very upset. It had something to do with my husband and I was started to cry. I knew in my dream he was down the hall sleeping in our room when all of a sudden I hear him yell. He shouted so vividly that I startled awake. I then looked over and realized he was sound asleep and the whole house was quiet. I do remember while I was dreaming that I felt like it was becoming real and that I’d never leave and that’s when the shout came.

I’m unsure of what to think and now that it’s happened two nights in a row, I’m just hoping for some insight.

Estherie, Many years ago when I was lucid dreaming, linking with other dreamers and sharing a bed with my old ex, we had a funny thing happen.  One morning we both had a huge conversation with each other while still lying in bed.  Then we both woke up to realize we had the conversation, but we were still not fully awake.  We realized also that the conversation was telepathic as we hadn't used our mouths.

It's quite possible you linger halfway between waking and dreaming.  You can be hearing your husband yelling from that same state of consciousness.

First thing that came to my mind as I read this!

Hope it helps and Dream on...
