Size

Size matters in dreams.  Unusually big or large symbols in dreams point to feelings that the symbol is a “big” issue in your waking life.   Conversely, small symbols reflect feelings that the issue is not a large one, that it has been minimized in waking life, or that it is "smaller" than others would have you believe.

As one example, if clothes are too big in a dream, it reflects feelings that you may have taken on too much in waking life or cannot “fill the shoes.” If clothes are too small, it reflects feelings that the role you are playing in waking life “no longer fits.”
