Passport

Passports (and IDs, such as a driver's license) in dreams hold strong associations to identity, including nationality and race. Dreams of arriving at an airport without a passport (or ID) or one that has expired indicate feelings of unpreparedness for a destination in our lives-usually a career or romantic goal. Lost passport or ID dreams also may indicate feelings that a dreamer is "losing" his or her identity-through extended stay in a foreign country-or through being absorbed into a "foreign" culture, for example  marriage or a new job. Lost passport/ID dreams are common reflections of literal anxieties during actual travel to foreign countries.  If your passport or ID is stolen in a dream, consider where you feel as if your identity or power have been stolen or encroached upon in your waking life.
