Brakes

Brakes are instruments of control. If the brakes in a car, bus, train, airplane, motorcycle, bicycle or other vehicle do not work, it is a sign that you feel emotionally out of control; we are unable to stop ourselves. The location and key people in the dream are clues as to the area of your life where you feel that way.  Is a co-worker or romantic partner in the vehicle with you?   Are you driving near a school or in a business district?  "No brakes" dreams are also common among drug and alcohol users, who feel they are unable to control their addiction.
