Stabbed

To be stabbed (or the attempt) in a dream reflects concerns about an emotional attack in waking life. Where you were stabbed is often a clue.  For instance, to be stabbed in the back symbolizes a sense that the attack is occurring behind the victim's back, not to your (or the victim's) face.  To be stabbed in the leg may reflect feelings that someone is trying to "cut your legs out from under you" or damage your "means of support."  To be stabbed in the stomach may reflect your feeling that the attacker is going for your gut. To be stabbed in the throat often refects feelings that someone is trying to silence you or "going for your "jugular."
