Were you late for work, school, an appointment, an event or a date in a dream? You’re feeling unprepared and need to pay more attention to that area of your waking life.  If not immediately obvious, take note of clues in the dream, such as where it takes place, who else is in the dream. 

Running late or being late and missing a test or assignment, a flight or departure, or a performance in a dream reflects feelings of being unprepared for a "test" in your waking life, a "big journey" in your personal or professional life, or a "presentation" of yourself before others at school, work or socially.  If a friend or relation is late to meet you in a dream, it may reflect your feeling that that person doesn’t care very much about you.
