About Insomnia...
Did you know that over 50% of Americans report they suffer from insomnia at least once a month or more? Insomnia is the most common sleep complaint of all. Unfortunately, it also is the most difficult sleep disorder to cure.
Different types of insomnia, however, have different causes.
- If you find it difficult to “turn off your mind” at a given hour (so you will feel rested the following day) you may be suffering from anxiety or a circadian rhythm disorder.
- If you fall asleep easily, but then awaken “off and on” for the remainder of the night, you may have episodes of sleep apnea or periodic leg movements in sleep.
- You also may have some bad sleep habits, that can be improved by obeying a simple sleep hygiene tip.
