Hi Kathleen—
Your dream is a fairly transparent representation of the depth of your feelings for the Kennedy brothers. The only part that is unusual - and dreamlike - is that you were able to speak with Bobby as if he were still alive, and that the hallway was flooded with water about three inches deep.
It is common in our dreams to be able to see the dead as though they are still living. Sometimes their appearance jogs a sense of disbelief - we wonder what they are doing alive - and other times we seem to accept their presence without questioning whether the entire scenario is possible or not.
What is the significance of the hallway being flooded with water? Water in dreams universally represents emotions. Translation? You were “flooded with emotion” when you saw Bobby Kennedy in your dream. Am I right?
One other thing. Did you notice the “Freudian slip” in your dream report? You wrote that you saw Bobby in “the whole” - instead of in the hall - wearing glasses. Your slip suggests that your feelings for the Kennedy’s were being represented “in the whole” as well. I think you really are a big fan!
