This is a recurring nightmare:

I am running... as fast as I can... up hill... there is a ball... as I near it (I want or need that ball) an arm comes in from nowhere and picks the ball up and throws it further up the hill... I run faster and harder... but always the arm... the throw... and me running.

When I am in the dream the roof of my mouth feels gritty like sandpaper. When I wake I am sweating and out of breath and feel as if I haven’t slept.
