  • I can not seem to find answers anywhere so here it goes. I am only a teenager but unfortunately I have had my fair share of loss. My two closest grandparents, a great grandmother, and my dad. I have had many dreams about them all. What I find strange is every single time inside of the dream I know that they are dead. I seem to talk to them about why they are not dead or try to tell them that I love them. Why is it that I already know they have passed in all of my dreams?

  • Dreams of the deceased are extremely common. They are expressions of your feelings about the departed and where you are emotionally in the grieving process. Here's a link to the definition on this website: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/deceased.html

There are a lot of examples of similar dreams and their definitions in the common dream section under "deceased." Here's a link: www.dreamdoctor.com/common-dreams-their-...s/dreams-common.html

The reason that you know that they are dead in your dream is that you consciously know that they are dead, but you still have feelings that you want to communicate to them. The reason that they often do not respond is because you know subconsciously that they cannot... because they have passed on.

    Hope that helps!
