  • I was an assassin, and there were other people around me who I know in real life
who also seemed to be assassins.
We ran through a dark maze, and were let out onto some
stairs leading into a whitewashed room. The room had weapons in its center, and they were all very deadly.
I grabbed a bow and arrows or a knife, and ran behind some walls into another maze.
It had people in there, I think they were for me to kill. I was about to run in, raging with
blood lust, but instead I stopped and climbed a wall. There was a boy with blond hair on top of it, and we talked. But then it was time to go and do the whole thing over again. Everyone was violent, and some people were killed in the insane rush for weapons and blood.

What the heck?????? I'm not a violent person! So why was I an assassin?

  • Your dream is symbolic of your feelings about what's going on in your waking life. It's not a literal desire, but a metaphor of how you feel. Here are links to the meaning of the key symbols which should help explain why you had it:

    murderer (variation of assassin): www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/murderer.html
    knife: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/knife.html
    maze: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/maze.html
    stairs: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/stairs.html
    climbing (wall): www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/maze.html
    violence: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/violence.html
    weapon: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/weapon.html
    blood: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/blood.html

The dream reflects feelings of frustration, anger and emotional pain in some area of your waking life. From the dream, it's clear that you are trying to find and/or climb your way out of a confusing situation... one that is violent either physically or emotionally in your waking life. The boy should be a clue as to what part of your life it is... family, school, social. If the boy is symbolic, this link should prove helpful: www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/child.html

This is a warning dream from you to you... that you don't like the situation you are in and would like to extricate yourself from it. If there is a silver lining to the dream, it's that you feel that you are able to hold your own. How you felt in the dream is telling because feelings IN dreams are never disguised. Were you scared, exhilarated, angry, confused? That's how you feel about the situation. Knowing that you can decide how best to proceed to protect yourself.

    Good luck!

  • To see violence in your dream indicates unexpressed anger or rage. You need more discipline in your life. If you enjoy the violence, then it points to your aggressive or sadomasochistic tendencies. The dream may also reflect repressed memories of child abuse. To dream that the violence is directed to yourself represents self punishment and guilt. You may be feeling helpless or vulnerable in some area of your life. Violence toward others in your dream suggests that you may be fighting or struggling against aspects of your own Self
