  • The deceased are a common dream symbol. Here's a link to its definition on this website:

    www.dreamdoctor.com/dream-dictionary/definitions/death.html

Someone or something in your waking life at the time you had the dream conjured up his memory and his reaction. Try to remember how you felt IN the dream because feelings in dreams are never disguised. How you felt in the dream is how you feel about its subject in your waking life.

If you could provide some background about what was going on in your life at the time you had the dream, I'll do my best to help you connect the dots.

  • Cool dream!

The political rally would seem to represent a business or social event in your waking life, one that felt like a rally and was "political" in nature and at least one part of which you did not like or trust. Try to ID the "politician" trying to "win votes" or curry favor with a group in your waking life. The visual take from your deceased friend may have to do with your sense of how you know he would have reacted in support of your own feelings about it. His presence in the dream should help you identify what the waking life catalyst for your dream was because of what he either meant to you or how, where or why your lives intersected.

Dream are self-created so try to imagine why your dream picked him to smile knowingly to you.

    Hope that helps!
