If you post a dream...

Be sure to provide some relevant information about the dreamer (age, gender, relationship status, etc.), as well as his/her waking life background. Because dreams are reflections of the dreamer's feelings, thoughts and awarenesses about their waking life at the time of the dream, this information should improve the quality of responses received.

since last 1 week...i'm not able to sleep...even if i do i just sleep for 2 or 3 hrs. maximum...and whenever i go to sleep...i have this same dream every night...where i go out of my house for just a walk like in the evening..and after some time i realize that there are no people around...all the streets are empty...then i go inside someone's house and there is nobody there too...and then when i come back to my house...i see that there's no one...
All I see in my dreams every night is just empty streets...

And if it helps...I was in the same condition last year in November and December when I couldn't sleep...in the beginning of it..i could sleep at night for 4 hrs. but it kept decreasing day by day...and there was a time when i couldn't sleep at all. But i didn't ever feel sleepy the next day. I started sleeping properly once again only when my mum took me to the doctor and I started taking medicines for it. But now...i sometimes feel sleepy in the day time but not always just sometimes....and moreover my exams are going on right now..and I've slept in between my exams 2-3 times but fortunately each time the teacher woke me up..so i was able to complete my exam...

    Please help me !!! :(
    Thanks in advance

  • In dreams, people represent different aspects of your own personality. Since your dreams are empty of people, this shows that your personality is absent. I take this to mean that you are somewhat withdrawn from social contact (more than one would expect) and you have limited creative output for yourself. Look at your life and see where you could possibly increase social contact like visiting with friends and/or family. Also, a big help would be to start a creative project. Writing, acting, poetry, music, art, ect. Find something that requires concious thought on your part. When you do this, you tap into your personality. Once you do this, you will become more familiar with your 'current' self and your dreams will let you know how you are doing. Hang in there, keep looking, and hold on to that which is good. God bless.

  • I can only go so far as to say that your dreams can give clues to your waking life. You may be able to see conditions or circumstances that could cause sleeplessness. As I mentioned before, I believe that your dreams show a void where use of your creativity could help. If you give this a try and see no improvement or your dreams do not change, perhaps a doctor and/or counselor would be the route to take.
