Wedding

Often a literal representation of "the big day," dreams of weddings also can symbolize attraction to qualities that the groom or bride represents or may represent a joining of forces with another person or entity, as in a new business opportunity or harmony between feminine and masculine aspects of the self. Wedding dreams are normal in the face of large commitments, and should not be interpreted as precognitive, or as a bad omen for the marriage.  Dreams of being unprepared for a wedding (wedding dress doesn't fit, guests arrive late, dreamer is unable to locate church) reflect feelings of "cold feet." If you are left at the altar in a dream, it reflects your feeling that your intended may not be ready to "show up" and make the same commitment to the relationship.  Similarly, if you leave someone at the altar in a dream, it may reflect concerns or second thoughts about making a large commitment.
